Bankruptcy is a legal status of an insolvent person or an organisation, that is, one that cannot repay the debts owed to creditors. In most jurisdictions bankruptcy is imposed by a court order, often initiated by the debtor. Bankruptcy is not the only legal status that an insolvent person or organisation may have, and the term bankruptcy is therefore not the same as insolvency. In some countries, including the United Kingdom, bankruptcy is limited to individuals, and other forms of insolvency proceedings, for example liquidation and administration, are applied to companies. In the United States the term bankruptcy is applied more broadly to formal insolvency proceedings. From Wikipedia under the

GNU Free Documentation License What does it mean when a prosecutor files a "motion to amend criminal information"? Q. my ex got charged with retail theft but they graded the charge as an m2. The day of the pre trial conference, the DA filed this motion. I'm just curious to know what it means. Any help would be appreciated thanks ps it's in pennsylvania ok, so does that mean they're dropping or reducing the charge? I wouldn't think that is likely because they can do those things without filing a motion. Or does it mean they're gonna up the grade? Asked by - Sat Jul 23 23:09:50 2011 - Law & Ethics - 2 Answers - Comments A. It means the DA has more information or different information than in the original document, and needs to amend the document to be accurate. Its part of the new UAC (user account control) in Vista There is a good Article on it here: The only way you will ever get full control of ALL at the same time is if you disable UAC and then you have a very exposed machine. Do a seach for UAC on it also has some good information. Answered by Tracy L - Mon Mar 19 07:23:58 2007 From Yahoo Answer Search: "files chapter" |
